Conservative

Dental care can be conservative or endodontic. In both cases, these are clinical procedures that treat and maintain the function of natural teeth for as long as possible. Conservative (fillings or reconstructions) treatments concern the elimination of carious lesions and the reconstruction of the anatomy of the crown of the tooth. When the carious lesions are very deep and affect the dental pulp (the nerve), it is necessary to resort to devitalization or root canal care.
